
1. Participation is restricted to students from participating schools. Participants must be currently enrolled in their respective high school ensemble to be eligible to participate.
2. Four sets on conductor's scores must be provided for the convenience of the judges. All measures must be numbered. The official Score will be lowered 5 points if this regulation is not abided. No photocopies will be allowed, and groups performing with photocopies will be disqualified. Accompanists may photocopy scores as long as an original score is sitting on the piano next to them.

Vocal Performances have an established MINIMUM performance time of 8 minutes and
a MAXIMUM performance time of 20 minutes. There will be a 10
minute on stage Critique following the
performance
4. The method of presentation of vocal pieces, whether accompanied of a cappella, is the decision of the director. However, judges will be instructed to address the appropriateness of an accompanied performance of a cappella literature in the "Other Performance Factors" on the adjudication form.
5. When selecting literature for the competition we recommend classical literature rather that pop of musical theatre to truly show off your group’s diverse musical abilities.
